A lot of the wooden components that make up the Holtzundmetal product line are finely crafted out of the Dupont Woodworking Co-op, downtown Toronto. As many manufacturing processes are leaving Canada for overseas production along with a shortage of skilled tradesmen locally and nationally(a predicted defecit of 1 million workers nationally in the next decade), this Workshop in the heart of Toronto represents one of only a handful of craft driven manufacturers that operate to bring respect, skill, and honour to the creation and production of finely crafted furniture of all styles and function.

Working within a cooperative framework allows for creative synergy and manufacturing mite that might not otherwise be possible in an alternative framework. As their is respect for the craft there is also respect for the other members of the co-op. We believe that with positive working relationships ideas flow freely and quality soars.
